Internship Information
Off-campus internships are an important bridge connecting classroom learning with real-world practice in this department. Through partnerships with hospitals, research institutions, and companies, students can apply what they have learned to real clinical and industry settings before graduation, gaining cross-disciplinary hands-on experience and getting an early feel for the workplace. Off-Campus Internship Application Process
The off-campus internship process, from application to final review, consists of six interlinked stages: submitting an application, institution evaluation, contract signing, on-site visits during the internship, and finally the submission of results and two-way evaluation. Below is a summary of the key points at each stage, in order, to help students understand the full application timeline and the documents required.
1Submit Internship Application
Complete the “Off-Campus Internship Learning Plan – Regular Students” form and submit the internship application after department approval.
2Institution Evaluation
The department conducts an “Off-Campus Internship Cooperating Institution Evaluation” to confirm the institution meets the conditions for internship partnership.
3Sign Internship Contract
Depending on the actual employment relationship, sign either the “Employment Relationship” or “Non-Employment Relationship” version of the internship cooperation contract.
4During the Internship
During the internship, students complete a “Student Internship Weekly Log,” and department faculty arrange “internship visits” as required and complete a visit record form.
5Submit Results
After the internship ends, students must submit an “Off-Campus Internship Results Report.”
6Evaluation and Satisfaction Survey
The internship institution supervisor completes an “Internship Institution Supervisor Evaluation Form,” and department faculty complete a “Student Off-Campus Internship Performance Evaluation Form.” A two-way satisfaction survey between the intern student and the cooperating institution is then completed, finishing the internship process.
Governing Regulations
Off-campus internship operations, including the qualification of internship institutions, contract-signing procedures, and the rights and obligations of both parties, are handled in accordance with the following regulations established by the department. Students and cooperating institutions with questions about the provisions should contact the department office to confirm the latest version.
